In January, 2020, I walked the trail up to Mahoma lake on one day and back on the next day on a different trail, which is very nice. The hike is a little difficult but not that much if you’re fit. Landscapes are beautiful, and porters, cook and Samson, the guide, were very nice, helpful and friendly. I can only recommend to take this hike
